Jean-Léon Gerôme's The Slave Market (1882, I think), is a favorite of mine by a favorite Orientalist. (See the original and more at Rick Fink's Orientalist Art of the Nineteenth Century.) I created this image, weaving three Poser figures into the scene, to illustrate my essay, "The Rights of the Virtual." Poser 4, Victoria 2.0 (with the Natural VIctoria texture by Graham Shaw from Renderosity Free Stuff), Stephanie (Catharina Harder's Ona texture at Renderosity and Mecom4d), and the Pre-Teen Millennium Girl (borrowed texture from Mehndi's Sugar at DAZ3D). | |
